Friday Five

1. What's one thing you've always wanted to do, but never have?

There are many things I've always wanted to do but never have actually. But I'd really like to either skydive or bungee jump. I don't know why, and I'm sure I'd chicken out if given the opportunity, but I'd really like to do it.

I always wanted to sing solos too, I did it at church when I was a kid, but then somehow I grew inhibitions and nerves and haven't been able to do it since. Vocal tests were hell when I was in high school, all but once, when everyone stared at me when I volunteered to go first, belted out the song and left, I'm not sure if I was pleased at their awe at how good I was or annoyed that they hadn't seen my brilliance before. ;) At any rate, I love to sing and would love to be able to do it in public.

2. When someone asks your opinion about a new haircut/outfit/etc, are you always honest?

Yeah, I'm pretty damn honest about things. And I think people know it, if they don't want to hear the truth, generally they don't ask me things. Like surly said, that way I can honestly say "C'mon you know me better than that." When they ask me if I'm just being nice.

3. Have you ever found out something about a friend and then wished you hadn't? What happened?

I don't think so.

4. If you could live in any fictional world (from a book/movie/game/etc.) which would it be and why?

The Emerald City maybe? There were women there to clean you up, there were horses of a different colour, a field of beautiful poppies outside, and a yellow brick road, what could be more perfect? And! As an added bonus everyone was singing all the time.

5. What's one talent/skill you don't have but always wanted?

The ability to concentrate? Actually, I'd really like to be able to write tests. I am absolutely terrible at it, ask me to explain something and I can talk forever about it (as long as I understand it of course) but put an exam in front of me, and I'll freeze. Which sort of put a damper on any scholastic success.
