Fresh's Friday Five
So, the Friday Five people let us down this week. There were no questions to answer! But, never fear, Fresh has saved the day!
1. That hot Indian Mystery Girl is back. Distract Fresh with stories of your own office crushes.
Ok, first off, I don't work in an office, I work in a bookstore. Secondly, every single person on staff is of the female persuasion. And sorry, I just don't swing that way. However. My bookstore is in a mall, and there are two beautiful boys that I enjoy looking at from time to time. And yes, I say boys, because they are both far too young for me to be looking at. Alas, they're so gorgeous I can't stop doing it anyway. One works at The Gap and comes in to browse now and again. The second makes me my lunch every day at Mr. Sub. And no, that's NOT the only reason I go there.
2. How do you get over writer's block? (Alternate: Does rapidly changing subject mean I have ADD?)
Generally I don't. I am not a writer. At least, I don't write things that are overly interesting to anyone but myself, so I don't usually get blocked. If I do, then I just revert back to writing about the one thing I know that I can always write about. Forever... till my hand cramps and falls off. What is that? None of your business!
For bonus points, the alternate question.... Yes Fresh, I believe it does. ;)
3. Harry Knowles is rich and famous, and none of us are, despite being better writers. I mean, what the fuck?
Who? He can't be that famous if I've never heard of him, can he?
4. How the hell do I get to be a sought-after writer (Internet or print; I'm not picky) too?
If I knew the answer to that do you suppose I'd be working in a bookstore and keeping this blog that is rarely read? ;)
Though, really, chicklit is awfully popular lately. Pretend to be a woman and follow the pattern, you'll make a fortune.
5. Ah, fuck it. What are we drinking this weekend?
I just wish I was drinking this weekend. Seriously, the last time I was good and drunk was almost an entire year ago. How sad.
