Train Wreck

So, a couple of weeks ago there was a train derailment. A CN train came off the track and made a big mess. Most of the trains home were cancelled that day, but I managed to get on one that went through. It took forever, but eventually I got home.

While we were sitting right beside the derailed train waiting for an open track to go past on, I took a few pictures. I figured, why not? Unfortunately I had to take them through the windows so there's some reflection, but still. It's pretty amazing to see.

Click on them to see the much larger sizes. If you look closely in some of them, you can see that a) the wheels have come right off the train cars and b) the rails have been ripped right out of the ground. It's lucky nobody was hurt.
